IT Support Technician to Regional Service Service Center

Job Description:
Our client is looking for five IT support technicians (competence level 3) for their Regionservice Service Center.

Request for volume:
The request consists of 5 consultants (Technical Support – On-site) for 8 hours/day. The standard working hours are Monday-Friday between 07:00-17:00. However, other working hours may be required at the discretion of the client.

Background to the request:
The Service Center is the internal support function for Region Örebro County, providing assistance with IT-related issues. The IT support, which is a second-line support in the Service Center, handles error reports, orders, and inquiries from all departments within the region. The job primarily involves helping our clients via phone and remote control, but may also include providing assistance to visitors to the Service Center. With the implementation of a new healthcare information system, we need to temporarily reinforce our regular support with IT technicians.

Assignment Description:
The assignment begins with a 3-week introduction. It is necessary for the same consultants to be staffed for the entire contract period due to the introduction taking place at the start of the contract. The consultants will work together with existing IT technicians in an open office landscape where they can seek support from each other.

​ Tasks that may be involved:

• Troubleshoot and resolve computer (Win10), application, and peripheral issues.

• Investigate whether a problem can be traced back to an infrastructure component (e.g. storage/server/network) or other functionality, describe the issue, and escalate it to the appropriate group.

• Install software and assign permissions in Active Directory, as well as configure users/functions in Exchange.
