Summary:
Looking to hire a consultant with robust expertise in AWS (Amazon Web Services) to implement and support AWS solutions for UNICC and its clients, in addition to assisting with Cloud Cost operations. This role involves working with a team of Azure, AWS, and GCP Engineers located in Valencia and various offshore/nearshore locations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support ICC Clients’ AWS solutions, focusing on IaaS and PaaS.
Implement and maintain cloud platforms and infrastructures.
Collaborate with other cloud teams to handle AWS-related technologies.
Work closely with ICC technical teams, including Information Security, Development, and Service Management.
Prepare technical documentation for AWS services and operations.
Keep up-to-date with AWS best practices, new trends, and technologies.
Partner with Cloud Cost focal points to offer Cost Control, Cost Optimization, and Cloud Billing services.
Sustain the AWS Athena SQL-based data platform for cloud billing.
Essential:
Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS Cloud Platform
At least two years of relevant IT experience with significant exposure to AWS services.
Knowledge of AWS service structure and core functionalities.
Practical experience with key AWS IaaS and PaaS services (compute, networking, storage, databases, and containers).
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and Automation (Terraform, Shell scripting, AWS Automation).
Proficiency in AWS cloud security.
Experience with SQL modeling and queries.
Familiarity with general architecture, deployment, and administration (systems configurations, clustering, networking, OS administration, monitoring, security).
Strong problem-solving skills.
AWS Certification(s) is required.
Strong customer-facing and presentation abilities.
Capability to analyze, troubleshoot, and creatively resolve technical issues.
Proficiency in writing documentation and reports.
Skills in conflict resolution and teamwork.
Preferred:
Understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps tools (Bitbucket, Gitlab, Pipelines, Repos).
Experience managing Landing Zones.
Knowledge of DevSecOps principles.
Familiarity with cloud-based identity management.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
ITIL certification. and / or FinOps certification is preferred.
Will be required for teleworking Option:
Will be required On-call one week per month (rotational depends on team size)
Duration: 6 months with possibility of contract extensions based on performances.
