Consultant with expert competence in cryptography

Job description

The government agency is in need of a (1) consultant who is a specialist in cryptography, to support the work on the European digital identity wallet (EUDIW) and the development of the state digital identification within the digital identity domain.

There will be a need for the consultant to work on specific tasks, depending on the project's progress. There may be periods where the workload is higher, as well as periods where the consultant's work will not be required. Invoicing will be done on a monthly basis for approved deliveries.

The interview date is scheduled for Thursday, June 27th.

Start-end + option: On or before September 2nd, 2024 - September 1st, 2025 + option: 6+6 months
Work location : The work will be done remotely, with the exception of in-person meetings called by Digg. These meetings may take place in either Sundsvall or Stockholm. The consultant may choose Sundsvall or Stockholm as their work location.
Time commitment : The work may range from 0 hours per month up to full-time hours, depending on project needs.

Must-have requirements

-Expert level of competency (12+ years).
-Extensive experience and ability to lead and work independently.
-At least 40 university credits in mathematics.
-At least 40 university credits in programming.
-In-depth math knowledge of cryptographic primitives and functions.
-Proven experience with designing and analyzing cryptosystems within the digital identity domain.
