Role: Consult with expert competence in cryptography

Assignment length: 2024-09-02 to 2025-09-01 (with possibility for extension until 2026-09-01)

Scope: May vary from 0 hours up to full-time per month during the project period. The projects will continue throughout 2024 and 2025 and into 2026 for the possibility of addressing remaining issues.

Assignment location: Remote (occasional physical meetings may require office presence, at Digg office in Sundsvall or Stockholm. If the consultant's chosen location is Stockholm, Digg will cover travel and/or hotel expenses to Sundsvall when needed, and vice versa).

Description: We are now looking for a subcontractor to take on the role of Consultant with expert competence in cryptography.

Digg needs a specialist in cryptography to support the work with the European digital identity wallet (EUDIW) and the development of the state e-identification within the field of Digital Identity.

The consultant will support Digg in the development and management of regulations within Digital Identity, with a special focus on the trust framework, conducting investigations in security-related, technical, and legal matters related to Digital Identity, monitoring developments within the field, planning and conducting audits of e-identification issuers, contributing to the work on the EU's digital identity wallet, participating in expert reviews of e-identification systems in other countries, collaboration with other EU/EEA countries as part of the eIDAS cooperation organization, participation in international coordination and standardization efforts, and providing specialist expertise in IT security areas such as cryptography, biometrics, intrusion security, security architectures, and more.

This assignment requires a level three (3) security clearance agreement, level two (2) security clearance. With this in mind, Digg has the following requirements for the delivery.
