Senior Platform Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for our client. As a Senior Platform Engineer in the ML Platform team, you will collaborate with other platform engineers to develop state-of-the-art machine learning platform products. These products will enable ML Product teams to comply with organizational standards, increase efficiency, and shorten production timelines. Your role will primarily focus on engineering and providing solutions for ML Product teams, such as continuous integration and development workflows, model training pipelines, model serving and monitoring solutions, and reusable libraries. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop technical tools to support large-scale machine learning solutions.
As part of an Agile team, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing ML Platform solutions
• Creating reusable technical tools to expedite the development of Advanced Analytics and AI products, such as automating machine learning model training and lifecycle management, and advanced data profiling
• Applying understanding of software architecture and design patterns to write scalable, maintainable, and future-proof code

To qualify for this role, you should have:

• 5-10 years of experience as a software developer with a strong focus on building scalable and high-quality products
• A passion for distributed computing and machine learning technology
• Excellent Python programming skills, including knowledge of best practices, code structure, design patterns, and testing
• A commitment to test-driven development
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and automating software development processes, such as with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with at least one cloud solution, such as AWS, Azure, or preferably GCP
• Previous experience in building machine learning applications or a strong interest in the field of data science
• A strong team player, willing to take on various tasks in an Agile team to meet sprint commitments and achieve our goals together
