Expert Java Developer

We are currently conducting a recruitment process for our client, a banking company, for the position of Expert Java Developer.

Preferred location - all Poland locations

Project Description:
This project involves the maintenance of tools used for testing and deploying Core Banking components in the client's deployment pipeline.

An ideal candidate profile:
• Strong Java development background
• Experience with distributed version control systems (such as GIT).
• Familiarity with Weblogic or Tomcat.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes technologies (MKE).
• Experience in XML processing, regular expressions, and xpath.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix.
• Solid understanding of DevOps/CICD principles.
• Ability to interpret and troubleshoot applications using logs.
• Independent and task-driven.
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player.
• Knowledge of security protocols like certificates and JWT tokens.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong system engineering skills for web applications and container services.
• Infrastructure skills, particularly with Java platforms, Kafka, MS, Linux, and Oracle database.
• Personal skills: proactive, cooperative, leadership qualities, analytical mindset.

Nice to have:
• Understanding of Java Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Design.
• Experience in developing REST web services in Java.
• Proficiency in Java, Java EE, and core libraries.
• High proficiency in software development practices such as unit testing, continuous integration, refactoring, and writing clean code.
• Experience with JBoss/Wildfly.
• Knowledge of relational database concepts.
