Cookie policy
Last updated: August 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data a site stores in your browser, and related technologies like local storage work in a similar way. They let a site remember things between page loads — for example, that you're signed in. This policy explains which ones Youpal uses and why. It covers this website, and Youpal AB's cookie practices are also summarized in our privacy policy.
2. What we use and why
We only use what's needed to run the site and keep you signed in. Everything below is strictly necessary:
- Authentication session — keeps you signed in and applies the right client or talent access as you move between pages. Set when you log in and cleared when you log out.
- Cookie acknowledgement — a single local-storage entry (yp-cookie-ack) that remembers you've seen the cookie notice, so it isn't shown again on every visit.
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies today. If we introduce analytics in future, we'll update this policy and this list before doing so.
3. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Because the items above are strictly necessary, removing them will sign you out and reset the cookie notice, but the site will otherwise keep working.
4. Changes
If what we use changes — for instance if we add analytics — we'll update this page and the “last updated” date above. Where new cookies aren't strictly necessary, we'll ask for your consent first.
